Art Museums, culture, good wine and a scholarship? Yes, please!
With it’s prestigious education system and thriving student lifestyle, it comes as no surprise that France remains to be a top pick of thinkers who want to explore education options.
The French Embassy in the Philippines is now inviting Filipino students to study in France with two seperate calls for application for financial aid and scholarship. The deadline for application is on Apr 15.
Yes, that means the French government will take care of part or all of the awardees’ living fees, roundtrip air travel, health insurance, and tuition.
The first option is for Filipinos who want to earn a degree awarded by a French institution of higher education. It’s open for graduates of a high school or university in the Philippines. All fields are eligible, including dual degrees. Applications should be accompanied by a letter of acceptance or an acknowledgment of application issued by a French higher education institution.
On the other hand, the second option is for Filipinos who want to study in France as part of an exchange program. This is open for students who are currently enrolled in a university. The exchange program will be credited to the home univesity. As a requirement, participation must not delay the scholar’s graduation.
Other requirements are a one-page CV, a 500-word essay, academic transcripts and the latest copy of tax return from the applicant’s household.
Complete application details are on the French Embassy website.
