Following complaints about Cebu Pacific’s less than compassionate response to a landing mishap at the Davao International airport, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines said it will include these alleged lapses in its investigation.
In a GMA News report, CAAP deputy director general Rodante Joya said Tuesday that they will include all aspects of the incident in their probe. The move stemmed from complaints from Cebu Pacific passengers and their families about the alleged inaction of the flight crew during the incident.
A Cebu Pacific flight made an emergency landing at the Davao International Airport on Sunday evening. While it overshot the runway amid heavy downpour, none of the 165 passengers was harmed. However, the crew reportedly did not attend to the passengers nor did they make any attempt to calm them down after the incident.
