It’s no wonder jealousy is one of the seven deadly sins.
“A butcher, identified as 37-year-old Alberto Balde, allegedly killed his live-in partner, 30-year-old Donnabelle Gamayon, in a fit of jealous rage,” reports the Philippine Daily Inquirer. The incident transpired inside the couple’s rented room at a house on Sampaguita Street, Maligaya Park Subdivision, Barangay Pasong Putik in Quezon City. Gamayon’s body was discovered around 8:30pm on Sunday, Dec 22.
Gamayon’s body bore multiple stab wounds. Her right cheek had been slashed and her left breast had a cut that formed an “X.” She and Balde had been living together for six months. She was said to have worked as a security guard.
According to their neighbors, they had heard Balde and Gamayon having frequent fights in the past month. Balde had accused Gamayon of infidelity. Sometime last week, witnesses revealed that they saw Balde exiting their rented room holding a knife. The police are now hunting him down.
