A 29-year-old businesswoman was ambushed and killed by motorcycle-riding gunmen in Ermita Manila on Friday morning.
Police identified the fatality as Fatima Salabi. She suffered several gunshot wounds in different parts of the body.
According to the Philippine Star, gunmen open fired at the vehicle where Salabi, her husband, and two other companions were riding.
They were on Malvar Street in the Ermita district of Manila and were on their way to Parañaque City when the incident occurred.
Police are still trying to establish motive for the killing as well as any possible leads on the suspects.
