Police arrested bus driver Johnny Vasquez, 32, and conductor Marcelo Mangalili, 35, after they were caught allegedly engaging in a shabu session earlier this week.
The two were inside a shanty in somewhere in Barangay Greater Fairview. The cops happened to be conducting an anti-criminaliry drive in the area.
According to Police Supt. Dennis de Leon, chief of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 5 in Fairview, the suspects were nabbed at 3am by cops and barangay watchmen.
“Seized from the suspects were two small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing undetermined quantity of suspected shabu, two disposable lighters, and a strip of aluminum foil suspected to contain traces of shabu,” reports Francis T. Wakefield in Tempo.
