Bus conductor found dead near Valenzuela terminal

You could say that he died close to where he made a living.

“At around 230 pm on Friday afternoon, Dec 13, bus conductor Roldan de Villa, 42, was discovered dead at a waiting shed near a bus terminal in Malinta, Valenzuela City,” reports Janvic Mateo in The Philippine Star.

Witnesses said that De Villa arrived at the area via a passenger jeepney driven by Rodel Gamas. In fact, Gamas helped De Villa get down from the jeepney, as he had fallen asleep. However, a few minutes later, Gamas saw De Villa slumped at a waiting shed. Gamas then sought help from the city’s rescue team.

The rescue team arrived and saw that De Villa was already dead. They said his body didn’t show any signs of external injuries so foul play will most likely be ruled out.
