Burglars executed a well-planned heist at the Gonzales Building at the corner of Edsa and Muñoz Avenue in Quezon City in under 20 minutes.
Emma Regondola, 55, the administrator of the said building, lost nearly PHP300,000 worth of jewelry and her laptop computer on Saturday night. According to Inquirer News, the thieves knew exactly when to strike. The victim merely stepped out of her room between 6 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. on Saturday and came back to a ransacked apartment. The thieves also apparently knew that the security cameras in the building were turned between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
