Commission on Elections chairman Sixto Brillantes will be at the Supreme Court on Wednesday to clear up matters between the COMELEC and SC as well as to apologize for his prior statements.
The SC had earlier ruled against the COMELEC on four cases including the party-list purge, a case regarding a political tarpaulin in Bacolod, an election protest in Cavite, and the limits on political advertisement airtime.
He also said that he will apologize to the SC for statements regarding the above rulings. Additionally, due to the elections scheduled on Monday, he will also be filing a comment regarding the request for a release of the source code of the precinct count optical scan (PCOS) machines, ABS-CBN News reported.
