Kobe Paras’ search is finally for a college varsity team is finally over!
According to the 6-foot-6 shooting guard, he has committed to Creighton University, a NCAA Division 1 College in Omaha, Nebraska.
The son of PBA legend Benjie Paras made the announcement on Twitter yesterday afternoon, Jul 18.
“I would gladly want to announce that I am taking my talents to to Omaha Nebraska. #1700Strong”.
Kobe was seen visiting the home of the Creighton Bluejays on Tue, Jul 5. The school’s alumni include Chicago Bulls player Doug McDermott and Atlanta Hawk shooter Kyle Korver.
The Bluejays open their on season on Nov 4 against the Wayne State Wildcats.
Kobe had previously signed with the University of California Los Angeles, but withdrew because, according to the university, he did not meet some academic requirements.
He had been in talks with different NCAA Division 1 colleges and visited Loyola Marymount University and California State University.
