‘Boy Sungkit’ caught in Sta. Mesa

A man who finally got caught stealing has earned a new nickname.

“Max Gamba, was called ‘Boy Sungkit’ by his neighbors in Sta. Mesa, Manila after he was caught with a stolen gadget and an improvised hook that he allegedly used in stealing earlier this week,” reports ABS-CBN News correspondent Zyann Ambrosio on ABS-CBNnews.com.

To his credit, Gamba owned up to using the improvised hook to steal from his neighbors. Police also recovered padlocks, knives, cutters, money, and wallet with a mini prayer booklet from him.

According to the report, “at least three victims have filed complaints against Gamba after losing their phones and gadgets inside their homes.”
