“Jerwin Villega, 12, of Balut, Tondo, was visiting relatives at Building 25 Permanent housing in Balut, Tondo at about 10:45 am on Wednesday, Jan 1, when he accidentally stepped on a live electric cable,” reports Jenny Manongdo in the Manila Bulletin.
Villega was rushed to Tondo Medical Center, but was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians.
