Bong denies complaining about rats, cockroaches in detention cell

He’s back to his tough guy act.

“Senator Bong” Revilla on Wednesday, June 25, said he never complained about the rats and cockroaches in his detention cell at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center in Camp Crame,” reports ABS-CBN News correspondent Chiara Zambrano.

Revilla claimed that his lawyer, Atty. Sal Panelo, only talked about the pests “in jest.”

Revilla relayed this message through PNP public information office chief Reuben Theodore Sindac.

Panelo, on the other hand, said he was “just stating a fact about the condition of the cells.” He added that the senator’s family saw rats “as big as cats” inside the senator’s cell.
