It’s the scariest time of the year — especially if you add reckless gun owners into the mix.
ABS-CBN News and DZMM reported a bodyguard who opened fire in a crowded bus terminal in Tramo, Pasay City on Sat night, Oct 29.
36-year-old Rodel Jamison fired his .45 gun five times in public at around 9:30 p.m. last night. Thankfully, no one was hit, but a bullet damaged a parked Toyota Vios of Perlita Sevilla. Jamison also allegedly pointed his gun at Sevilla.
Superintendent Mark Anthony Andrade said members of Police Community Precinct 7 and from the regional Public Safety Batallion were immediately deployed to the scene and cornered Jamison along EDSA.
Jamison admitted he was drunk, but he insists he only fired his gun because he saw a ghost — the perfect alibi since it is Halloween.
But the police didn’t buy his ghost alibi. Jamison will be facing charges of alarm and scandal and/or damage to property.
