This isn’t how you’re supposed to greet the New Year.
“Two men — identified as Renato Bautista and Jovito Alnas — died when Noriel Padilla (alias “Totoy Ampatuan”) went on a shooting rampage in Barangay 118, 4th Avenue, Caloocan City just as the residents were welcoming the New Year,” reports Sonny Angara on ABS-CBNnews.com.
The people who participated in the revelry said they didn’t notice the gunshots because they thought they were firecrackers. Police say Padilla possibly gunned down Bautista and Alnas “for revenge.”
