The National Capital Regional Police Office has warned the public against buying defective electrical products from China.
The warning stems from a recent raid of three warehouses in Binondo, Manila where defective electrical items were found. The yield was said to have cost PHP 10 million and included common household items such as flashlights and extension cords.
According to Inquirer News, the products were expired and recycled. Authorities are encouraging consumers who may have bought defective products to file a complaint with the Department of Trade and Industry or at the nearest police station.
