Oh boy, it’s getting pretty, nay really, dirty.
A quick timeline: VP Binay had a press conference on Wednesday — where members of the press weren’t allowed to ask questions, mind — where he pretty much burned the Aquino administration.
President Aquino shot back on Thursday asking, ‘is this what I get in return?’
Like an exciting tennis match, Binay shoots back at Aquino again on Friday practically saying, ‘Well, I served you faithfully.”
But it doesn’t end there.
According to a report by Kristine Angeli Sabillo on the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Binay “said he worked hard to help OFWs and to reform the housing sector.” Except, the funding that’s supposedly for him actually went to the DILG, ‘na hindi naman trabaho ang magtayo ng mga bahay.’
Oooh.
Binay adds: “Ganyan ang nangyayari sa pamahalaan ngayon. Pulitika ang nagdidikta kung sino ang bibiyayaan ng mas malaking budget, lalung lalo na ‘yong kanilang mga kakandidato.”
When PDI asked about Roxas’ supposed laughing off of his Wednesday speech, Binay said it was no laughing matter. True to his action movie form, the Vice President said, ‘seryosong usapin ito, Mr. Roxas. Hindi katatawanan.
But wait Sir, we have a question, since we weren’t allowed to ask last Wednesday: Aren’t the senate hearings a serious matter as well? #justasking.
