It’s trouble with a capital “T.”
“A YouTube video showing Bonifacio Global City (BGC) guards forcefully restraining two foreigners has gone viral. At some point, blows were said to have been exchanged,” reports ANC.
The report noted: “The video, which was uploaded by someone with the user name ghelo bytes, indicated that the footage was taken at around 5:24pm last Saturday, September 27, at the corner corner 5th and 30th Avenue in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.”
The two foreigners have been identified as British nationals Sam Reynolds and Christopher Edwards. They have reportedly been charged with malicious mischief and slight physical injury. They reportedly plan to file a counter-lawsuit.
According to initial investigation by the Taguig City police, “a female BGC guard accosted the duo for skateboarding on 28th Street.”
However, the report said that “the two men then allegedly insulted her and a heated argument ensued.”
The lady guard was allegedly shoved, so she called for help. That was when the male guards came and what happened next is caught on video.
Meanwhile, Bonifacio Estate Services Corp. has also issued a statement on Facebook regarding the incident. They said, “We have reviewed the video and it indicates that certain members of our security personnel resorted to inappropriate behavior and we are currently conducting a full investigation of this incident.”
Bonifacio Estate Services Corp. added, “We also filed formal charges against the two foreigners who had hit and hurt our lady marshal and another male marshal when their attention was called to certain violations of BGC’s community rules, and before their apprehension was captured in the video.”
