Are you due to get hitched in church soon? Then you better pass this on to your wedding guests.
“Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal G. Tagle revealed that some people attend church weddings in order to steal from the visitors and family of the couple especially during the picture-taking part,” reports Leslie Ann G. Aquino in Tempo.
Tagle was quoted as saying, “When the family of the bride (or groom) is called to go in front for the picture taking, when they return to their seats, they’ll find out their bags are missing.”
Tagle added that “these people would often disguise themselves by dressing properly for the occasion and to sort of blend in with the other guests.”
So, that relative whom you can’t remember may very well be a robber!
