These days, robbers know what to go for.
“PR Bank, which is located on the third floor of the Ropall Building in Escriva Drive, Barangay San Antonio in Pasig reported that it lost four laptops to suspected robbers last Wednesday, May 14,” reports Rizal S. Obanil in Tempo.
The stolen laptops were a Lenovo laptop valued at PHP15,000, a Dell laptop, PHP25,000; and two Toshiba laptops, PHP30,000.
Branch manager Crisanto Danao discovered the theft at around 8am, when he noted that the sliding door of their office was slightly open. When he checked inside, the laptops were missing. However, there was no sign of forced entry.
The report said that “the police found smudges in the door of the office that might be the fingerprints of the robbers.” However, the prints were not good enough to be used for identification.
