“All branches of the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and sister-firm BPI Family Savings Bank in the National Capital Region (NCR) will be closed on January 15, 16, and 19, 2015 in view of the declared special non-working days for the Papal visit,” reports Manila Bulletin.

The report noted: “In its statement, BPI said branches outside NCR will maintain regular banking hours. Mall branches and kiosks with Saturday and/or Sunday operations will also be open during the holiday weekend. Transactions that may be processed on these days are deposits, withdrawals, bills payments, buying and selling for foreign exchange, purchase of manager’s checks, and account openings.”

Thus, BPI “urged the public to complete their banking transactions ahead of the holidays.”
