“We have cleared some things up and we can still brighten your day here at Ball Pit Manila, because that is what play is all about!”, said Ball Pit in a statement sent to Coconuts Manila.
In spite of the negative feedback and legal issues with agency Pearlfisher, Ball Pit Manila would like to reassure customers that playtime will continue.
The cease and desist letter involving marketing material used for social media promotion will not affect Ball Pit’s daily operations.
The management is now involved in addressing the legal issues and claims of the said letter. The pictures in question have long been removed from Ball Pit’s site.
More importantly, Ball Pit guaranteed that their play facility is safe.
They provide orientations for all clients who want to enter the ball pit. They also have trained staff who monitor all the activities inside the facillity.
Furthermore, they added that though their balls are made of plastic, they are safe. They also actively remove and replace damaged balls. All balls used in the Ball Pit are made in the Philippines.
Ball Pit Manila is scheduled to run for two months. They have a weekday promo of PHP299 per hour.
Coconuts Manila has reached out to Pearlfisher for additional comments and statements. We will update this story when we hear from them.
