Actually, just this green oasis is already a treat.

“To keep residents and tourists connected to the Internet while enjoying the park’s amenities, the city government of Baguio launched its free WiFi connection inside Burnham Park’s Rose Garden last Friday (November 20),” reports JM Agreda for CNN Philippines.

The report noted: “Eight WiFi hotspots were strategically placed throughout the park. The access points allow park users to connect to the Internet at a fast speed with its 5G Wi-Fi cabapility. Up to 2,400 simultaneous park users can enjoy this free service. Residents and tourists should first register before they can access the free Internet connection labeled ‘burnhamfreewifi.'”

The launching of the free WiFi service marked the first phase of free Wi-Fi spots planned around the city. The report also noted that “Sen. Bongbong Marcos and Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan were at the inauguration ceremony.”
