Baguio City temperature drops to 11.5 ºC, expected to get colder

The temperature in Baguio City dropped to 11.5°C on MNon, Jan 25. It was already 14.5°C on Sun, Jan 24.

“Even so Raymond Ordinario — who mans the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) radar station on Mt. Sto. Tomas in Tuba, Benguet — said  cold weather came late to Baguio City this year, compared to last year, when the lowest temperature at 10.4°C was recorded as early as January 23,” reports Artemio Dumlao in The Philippine Star.

Dumlao added, “(The temperature) will further drop next month.”

The report recalled that Baguio City recorded its coldest temperature ever on Jan 19, 1961 at 6.3°C.
