This is the kind of problem that would aggravate hair loss.

“Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Butch Abad, confirmed on Monday, September 14, that his brother Nicanor will be challenging his wife, incumbent Batanes Rep. Henedina Abad, for the lone congressional seat of Batanes under the opposition United Nationalist Alliance (UNA),” reports RG Cruz on ABS-CBNnews.com.

Secretary Abad, a Liberal party (LP) stalwart, quipped, “Sometimes, blood is not thicker than water.”

Abad explained that “Nicanor is his elder brother who lived most of his life in the US.” Then, in 2004, Nicanor came home and decided to run against his wife Henedina for the lone congressional seat in Batanes.

After his loss, Nicanor returned to the US once again. He’s back once more to try his luck against his sister-in-law.

Nicanor is actually set to be sworn in as an UNA member along with Batanes Governor Vicente Gato and others from Batangas.
