A baby boy, believed to be 10 or 11 months old, was found by a jeepney driver at a terminal in Barangay Immaculate Concepcion in Quezon City on Thursday evening.
Driver Carlos Balbuena said he saw the baby wrapped in a towel. Beside the infant was a plastic bag filled with clothes and food. According to reports, the baby appeared healthy and did not have any scratches or bruises. Witnesses reportedly saw a woman leaving the baby at the gate near the terminal.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development has taken custody over the child, ABS CBN News reported.
