Ayala avenue will be closed for 3 hours for Megan Young’s homecoming parade

Heads up, commoners: Oct 11, Ayala Avenue in Makati will be closed from 1 – 4pm to make way for the newly crowned Miss World 2013 Megan Young. The beauty queen will be given a Homecoming Parade. Authorities are anticipating heavy traffic because of road closures. In its Facebook page, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has laid out an alternate route for motorists who will be passing through Makati City. MMDA is advising affected motorists to take the following alternate routes:

ALONG BUENDIA AVE. FROM EDSA TO SOUTH SUPER HIGHWAY All vehicles along EDSA, right to Buendia Avenue, Right at Paseo de Roxas, left at Jupiter Street, Metropolitan Avenue, left Don Chino Roces Avenue, right at Buendia Avenue to destination

TO MAKATI CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT All vehicles along South Super Highway take Buendia Avenue then right to Makati Avenue to Makati CBD (Central Business District)
