Tension rose as Manila authorities nabbed 14 men who were in the possession of four hand guns along with live ammunition at a school in Tondo, Manila. According to reports, the 14 men entered Almario Elementary School, a polling precint, in Zaragoza, Tondo.
One of the men was carrying an ID showing that he is a member of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF). In an interview, they were asked why they entered the precinct and said that they were looking for one of their companions as they were headed to Mindanao. When questioned over the firearms, they answered that they were for security purposes as they were MNLF security guards. All 14 of them are at Manila Police District 2 for further questioning, GMA News reported.
