Authorities capture 3 of 6 inmates who escaped from Albay jail

Three of the six inmates who escaped from the Tabaco City District Jail in Albay province yesterday have been captured by the authorities.

Inmates Eric Barrameda, Alfonso Ceneta, and Benjamin Reyes Jr. were arrested shortly after they escaped from jail at about 4pm. A manhunt was launched by the local police force after their group escaped. As of today, cops are still searching for the other prisoners who bolted, namely Kevin Braga, Glen Balmedina, and Rodney Cagud.

The Albay Police Provincial Office urged the public to provide any information that would lead to the three prisoners’ capture. The family and friends of the said persons deprived of liberty were also told to cooperate with the authorities.
