The public remembers Atty. Karen Jimeno as the former spokeswoman of ex-Chief Justice Renato Corona’s defense team in the his impeachment trial. This time around, she’s taken on a new gig as the spokesperson of rehabilitation czar Panfilo “Ping” Lacson.
“Jimeno’s official title is ‘Director of Communications for External Affairs of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Rehabilitation and Recovery,'” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
She was asked to join the office in January. *Despite her new government position, the report said Jimeno maintains that “the government used the wrong process in removing Corona from office.”
