Ateneo gets bomb threat, classes suspended

“On Wednesday, Feb 12, all levels of Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City were evacuated following an alleged bomb threat made at the grade school section,” reports GMA News Online.

At noon, AdMU released a statement confirming that, indeed, they had received a bomb threat on Wednesday morning. “PNP (Philippine National Police) units are now sweeping the campus,” revealed the advisory.

Classes from midday onwards were suspended and all units at the Loyola Heights campus to evacuate students according to procedures similar to fire drills.
