MANILA, Philippines – The mother of PBA superstar Arwind Santos was rushed to the hospital while San Miguel Beer was playing against Talk ‘N Text on Wednesday.
Araceli Santos reportedly hyperventilated while watching the game live at the Araneta Coliseum.
Santos immediately checked on his mother who was taken out of the venue in a stretcher. She was brought to the World Citi hospital.
The PBA star initially decided to stay for the game, but was later allowed to join his mother in the hospital.
Santos’s mother reportedly has a history of asthma.
San Miguel eventually lost the game, 93-113.
