Auditions will be held for “Maxie the Musical: Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros” this weekend so get your gay on and try out if you want a fabulous career in theater!
Head to the PETA Center this Saturday and Sunday, 12 noon to 8 p.m. if you’re interested.
For the musical version of the hit movie, they’re looking for actors who can sing, dance and act with equal facility. This is for the seven principal roles and the ensemble players.
You have to be at least 15 years old to audition; don’t forget to bring your resume with a recent 5R headshot. You also need to prepare two songs (a song from a Pinoy alternative band and one from a Broadway musical) plus one dance piece (hip-hop, contemporary or jazz).
If you want that Maxie lead role, you must look 13 to 15 years old, look androgynous and have a strong soprano voice. you must be able to dance, too, and perform a pop song that will showcase your vocal range.
