The first-ever Philippine Popular Music Festival last year proved to be such a hit that it’s now back for a second run. Behind the project is the PhilPop Musicfest Foundation Inc., led by executive director Maestro Ryan Cayabyab.
Open to amateurs and professionals, the songwriting contest is now accepting entries. Deadline for submission is Feb. 28.
The prize? One million pesos.
