Artists pay homage to Tado with mural

Dakila (Philippine Collective for Modern Heroism)—the group that Tado Jimenez established in 2005 together with Buwi Meneses, Noel Cabangon, Ronnie Lazaro, and Lourd de Veyra—recently shared on its Facebook page a photo of a “memorial mural.”

The caption of the photo reads: “A mural tribute to Tado by UNIKO INDIO and the SYLV in Paliparan, Marikina. According to SYLV, Tado has been very supportive of #streetart and the free wall in Marikina now being used by local graffiti artists was made possible through the initiative of Tado.”

Below is a screengrab image of the colored photo posted on the Inside Markina blog.
