If these artists could sing, they’ll probably be doing a local version of “We Are The World”. But what they do best is paint, shoot and sculpt, and they are donating their works to Art Flood, a pop-up exhibition at Silverlens, where 100% of proceeds will be donated to relief efforts for super typhoon Yolanda victims.
The paintings will be sold at gallery price.
There are 45 participating artists so far and 10 participating galleries: Art Informal, Avellana Art Gallery, Blanc, Finale Pablo, Silverlens, Tin-Aw, Vinyl on Vinyl, vMeme Contemporary and West Gallery.
The artists include Louie Cordero, Yasmin Sison, Mariano Ching, Keiye Miranda, Lena Cobangbang, Cos Zicarelli, Wawi Navarroza and Elaine Roberto Navas.
The pieces can be viewed at www.silverlensgalleries.com from Nov 20-22 and Dec 4-6. For inquiries and reservations, contact Kath at +63 2 8160044 or +63 917 5874011, or email manage@silverlensgalleries.com
