“On Monday, April 14, Justice Secretary Leila de Lima confirmed that the Taguig Municipal Trial Court (MTC) Branch 74 has issued arrest warrants for Cedric Lee, Deniece Cornejo,and five others involved in the mauling of actor-host Vhong Navarro,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
De Lima added that “copies of the arrest warrants have been sent to the stakeholders in the case.”
The five others who will also be issued arrest warrants are Bernice Lee, Ferdinand Guerrero, Simeon Raz, Jose Paolo Calma, and Jed Fernandez.
Last Thursday, April 10, the Department of Justice (DOJ) said it found probable cause to charge the group for the crimes of serious illegal detention and grave coercion, which they allegedly committed against Navarro.
