Watch out, Arnold Clavio wants a soundbyte and he’ll get angry if he doesn’t get it.
Social media was abuzz on Tuesday after a clip showing popular news presenter Arnold Clavio’s “rude and disrespectful” interview with one of the lawyers of pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim Napoles.
Clavio appeared incensed at lawyer Alfredo Villamor after the latter refused to comment about Napoles’ plans when she appears before the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee on Thursday in the continuation of the public hearings on the pork barrel scam.
Villamor insisted throughout the interview that his engagement with Napoles was merely on the serious illegal detention case filed by erstwhile confidant Benhur Luy. He maintained that he cannot say anything beyond his engagement with Napoles.
That was when Clavio let loose a series of snide remarks, including a parting shot at the lawyer “panira kayo ng araw (you ruined my day).”
