Seriously, Baguio City mayor, can you give this man a key to the city already?
This is not the first time that Japanese good heart Mazakasa Nose has become a news item. In Dec 2014, we reported about how he’d been using his free time to clean an overpass in the city.
It looks like there’s no stopping him.
The Cordillera Sun reports that Nose is at it again. This time, he’s been attempting to give the overpass a touch of color, literally.
“Querobin XD, a Facebook user, took a photo of the Japanese man painting the railing of the overpass and posted it online. If I’m not mistaken, the overpass in question is the one connecting the Baguio Center Mall to the City Public Market,” reports blogger Daniel Feliciano on his blog.
As Feliciano points out, it’s not the first time Nose has been showing love for his adopted city.
“If you regularly pass by Session Road, Harrison Road, or the overpass in front of Maharlika, chances are you’ve come across Nose picking up trash there. With a black garbage bag and a tong in tow, Nose roams the said roads and overpass most mornings to pick up trash,” he writes.
If you want to say thank you to Nose, he can be seen running a small stall at the Baguio Center Mall called Masaya Takoyaki, where he sells takoyaki and waffles, according to The Cordillera Sun.
