Ariana Grande shares clips of 137k-strong Pinoys singing ‘Break Free’ at Leni-Kiko Pasig rally

Further adding to the high of Leni Robredo-Kiko Pangilinan supporters after last night’s Grand People’s Rally in Pasig City convened an estimated crowd of 137,000, no less than Ariana Grande herself took notice of the massive turnout.

The pop star took to Instagram and shared clips of the packed Emerald Avenue along the Ortigas business district in Pasig City where people clad in pink were singing “Break Free,” her 2014 hit featuring Zedd.

“I could not believe this was real,” Ariana captioned alongside the story, adding, “I love you more than words.”

The star shared another clip where the massive crowd was jumping along to the hit in the midst of festivities.

Ariana quickly topped Philippine Twitter trends after her Instagram stories were published.

Organizers said that the crowd turnout in Pasig has been the biggest of all Leni-Kiko sorties across the nation, beating Bacolod’s number of 70,000.

Flowers and streamers adorned the event as people clad in all shades of pink attended, bringing their own posters and slogans as a form of self-expression.

Celebrities Robi Domingo, Julia Barretto, and Melai Cantiveros hosted the Pasig rally, which also featured artists that have shown their support for the ticket such as Itchyworms and Ben&Ben.
