Argument between tricycle drivers leaves 2-year-old girl injured

An argument between tricycle drivers in Caloocan City turned violent Tuesday night, leaving a two-year-old child who had nothing to do with the incident injured.

According to Abante, Artemio Santos, a 60-year-old tricycle driver, cut in line at a tricycle terminal in that city. This caused a heated argument with Joselito Ensigne, 56, who picked up a piece of wood to hit Santos with.

Santos was able to dodge the blow, but his granddaughter Pauline, whom he had taken along, was hit instead.

Ensigne, who apologized after the incident, was charged with Physical Injury in relation to Child Abuse.
