Did someone mention giant robots and Manila?
That photo has been going around social media recently. We don’t know who made it but we have to say it’s very well done.
We’re not sure how Filipinos will react to it, though. One one hand, a robot is terrorizing Cubao. On the other hand, the robot is Voltes V and ’90s nostalgia makes the scene awesome.
In other news, social media users have been decrying how butthurt some Filipino netizens were over this promo still from the movie Pacific Rim, which, incidentally, is screening today.

It seems more people were offended that people were offended than people who were actually offended that a sea monster took a monster-sized dump on Manila.
