Archdiocese of Manila unveils ‘Huwag kang magnakaw!’ T-shirts

It’s a statement shirt that aims to awaken everybody’s conscience.

“The Archdiocese of Manila is now producing T-shirts bearing the words, ‘Huwag kang magnakaw!’ in the hope that the shirt’s message would have the power to eradicate the culture of greed and thievery among Filipinos,” reports ANC.

Father Nonong Fajardo explained that “out of The 10 Commandments, they chose to highlight the 7th Commandment because it seemed that stealing had become ‘normal’ to many Filipinos.”

The T-shirts, which cost P150 each, are sold at Adamson University.

The proceeds from the sale of the shirts will be used to fund forums and other events that will discuss why it is wrong to steal.

Our question: Do you think this shirt will work?
