Is this necessary?

“An anti-drug advocate group is asking the Bureau of Immigration (BI) to require members of the popular boy band One Direction to undergo drug test first before their concert in Manila on March 21 at the at SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds,” reports Aie Balagtas See in The Philippine Star.

According to Ferdinand Magisa of the group Laban ng Pamilyang Pilipino, they have talked to BI officials and were told to submit a formal request.

Magisa was quoted as saying, “This is for the welfare of their fans, mostly youth.”

The report noted: “The group’s move stemmed from a 2014 video showing two band members, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson, allegedly smoking marijuana in Peru.” The two have apologized for their behavior.

The other members of the group are Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne.
