Another Montero-related ‘self-accident’ happened on Saturday morning in Quezon City

Could this really be human error?

Another Montero Sport-related accident was reported early Saturday morning.

A woman driving a 2013 model of the, erm, notorious Mitsubishi sports utility vehicle crashed into a concrete barrier of the Skyway project on Araneta Avenue in Quezon City.

A resident of Sto. Domingo Street, San Francisco del Monte, Quezon City, Cathleen Margareth Sy sustained head injuries and was brought to Delos Santos Medical Center.

According to her father, the Montero suddenly accelerated and caused her to lose control.

“The report described the incident as a ‘self-accident’ that happened around 6 a.m. as Sy was driving on Araneta coming from Aurora Boulevard and heading toward Quezon Avenue. The vehicle ‘accidentally hit/bumped the barrier,” Inquirer.net reports.

The accident is yet another addition to the growing number of accidents and complaints concerning the Mitsubishi Montero and its alleged “sudden unintended acceleration”.

A few weeks ago, a video of a Montero Sport going wild in a police station parking lot went viral.

Mitsubihi Motors Philippines has repeatedly assured the public that the Montro has no design, mechanical or electronic defect.

So if that’s the case, then could all this really be just human error? Sounds like Carl Jung’s collective unconscious theory is at work!
