Another batch of Filipinos has left Ukraine following escalating conflicts with neighboring country Russia.
A total of 13 Filipinos flew from the Chopin Airport in Warsaw, Poland aboard Emirates flight EK 2023, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) confirmed. They are expected to arrive in Manila at 9:35pm today.
The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw helped secure the evacuees’ travel and flight documents.
The DFA assisted the individuals on repatriation expenses — including airfare, food, accommodations, and RT-PCR tests.
