Animator uses LEGO to dramatize “The Battle of Tirad Pass,” others

If Philippine history was taught this way, maybe we all would have paid more attention to it.

“Animator Dudz Clotario is shooting stop-motion videos using LEGO figures to re-enact historical events through a project he calls ‘Snippets of Philippine History,'” reports Kim Luces on GMA News Online.

Clotario recently released the trailer of his first production, “The Battle of Tirad Pass.”

Up next are “The Battle of Mactan,” “The Story of Gabriela Silang,” and “The Battle of Private First Class Narcisco Ortilano in World War II.”

According to the report, “Felta, a company that produces Filipiniana Video Programs for educational purposes, provided Clotario with the LEGO materials he used for the project.”
