Alleged QC ‘thrill killers’ arrested, 16-year-old boy among them

Earlier reports had initially said that five people were killed in the series of shootings in Fairview, Quezon City over the weekend. But it turns out more people were shot dead.

“Police are set to file criminal charges against Alsaid Mindalano, 28; Bochary Mindalano, 32; Mangoatawar Monib, 31; Ahmad Madkadato, 18; and a 16-year-old boy for their alleged involvement in a shooting spree in Quezon City on Sunday, May 11, where seven people were killed,” reports Dennis Carcamo on Philstar.com.

According to Senior Inspector Maricar Taqueban, Quezon City Police District Public Information Office head, only Alsaid Mindalano, will be slapped with multiple murder charges. He the owner and driver of the motorcycle used in the deadly shootings.

Meanwhile, the four other adult suspects will be charged for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, possession of illegal drugs and direct assault charges. The 16-year-old boy, on the other hand, will be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
