Alleged gunman in Enzo Pastor case retracts confession

Just how many dark turns are there in this case?

“PO2 Edgar Angel, alleged gunman and Pasay City police officer, retracted his claims that he was paid by a businessman to shoot international race car driver Enzo Pastor,” reports Philstar.com.

Apparently, in his counter-affidavit submitted to the Department of Justice on Monday, September 8, Angel “rejected his earlier judicial confession where he said Domingo de Guzman, the alleged lover of Pastor’s wife Dalia Guerrero Pastor was behind the murder.”

Now, Angel is claiming that the Quezon City Police forced him to admit to the crime and tag De Guzman and Pastor’s widow, who is still at large for being a suspect.

Angel now says he doesn’t know anything about Pastor’s murder. He claims his earlier “confession” followed a “script” given to him by Quezon City police.
