Why couldn’t they get them all.
“Alleged carjackers—identified as Nelson Castillo, Brian Legitimas, Victorio Nuas, and Roberto Gozon—were arrested Tuesday evening, August 12, while they were on board a car and a stolen motorcycle along EDSA Extension in the Pasay City area,” reports Jerome Lantin on ABS-CBNnews.com.
According to the police, prior to the arrest, the suspects stolen the motorcycle from a man in Makati and used it for snatching.
The suspects had fired shots while they were pulling of the robbery. As such, the police were alerted and checkpoints were set up.
Eventually, the car and the motorcycle were stopped at one of the checkpoints. The four suspects in the car attempted to flee, but, alas, they were caught. Only the suspect on the motorcycle managed to escape.
The report said that police “recovered three pistols and two bladed weapons from the suspects’ car.”
Well, four out of five isn’t so bad.
