A 50-year-old Filipina domestic worker just received the surprise of her life when her employer gifted her with enough money to pay for her son’s school fees.

The lucky Pinay simply goes by the name Avelina and has been working for Australian vlogger Supercar Blondie (AKA Alex Hirshi) for almost three years in Dubai. Hirshi said in a video published earlier this week that Avelina “does everything” for her, from doing administrative work to cooking for the vlogger’s other employees.

Avelina was being interviewed by Hirshi’s team for a fake documentary when the vlogger entered the room and gave her gift to the Filipino. Hirshi then handed her a bunch of flowers and a box that contained the cash.

“I’m a millionaire, sir!” Avelina exclaimed when she opened the box and saw the huge amount hidden inside.

“This is enough money for you to send your son to college or to help you build the house that you want back home when you retire,” Hirshi told Avelina.

Avelina jokingly asked Hirshi if she is allowed home, to which the latter responded, “No, I don’t want you to leave. If you leave me I’m taking this back!”

Watch their touching video below, which has been shared almost 113,000 times.

With almost 26 million followers on Facebook, Hirshi is known for creating videos that feature luxury vehicles.
